Privacy

This page is a placeholder pending legal review. The commitment below is real and enforced in the product; the full policy text is not written yet.

Reviews are anonymous, structurally

A published review never carries the client’s name, avatar, employer, book title, or anything else identifying. Reviewer identity is stored for integrity — one review per engagement, by the person who paid for it — and is readable only by the reviewer themselves and an administrator. It is excluded from the public read path at the database level, not filtered out in a template, and there is a test whose whole job is to fail if it ever appears in a public response.

What the full policy will cover

What is collected at sign-up, what a writer’s public profile exposes, what messages and project details are visible to whom, how payment data is handled by Stripe rather than by us, how long records are retained, and how to request deletion.
